February 19th, 2024 Coin CLub Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by President Chuck Brandeberry, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 25 members plus 2 potential members present. The January minutes were read and approved. Vini read the Treasury report and it was approved.

Old Business/Illness Report

• Phil Cole is undergoing chemo in Florida. Please keep him in your thoughts.

• JFK halves were presented to members who missed the December meeting.

• Wooden nickels are still available if any members have not received theirs yet.

• Dues need to be paid.

Show Business Annual show is March 24, 2024 from 9am-4pm

• Committees were reviewed and progress reports given.

• 13 dealers are signed up

• Tables will be picked up at noon

• All time slots for the Registration table were filled by volunteers.

• Announcement procedures for the door prizes was discussed, as the PA system does not reach into all rooms.

• Members need to sell as many raffle tickets as they can!

• Flyers were placed in the Learning Center lobby.

New Business

• The Kuhns (Brenda and Don) were voted in as members.

• Gary updated the website with a new ticker for spot prices.

• Vic bought supplies/coin sets from Cronin (guest at previous meeting) and if any members need supplies, please contact Vic.

A motion to adjourn was made by Harry and seconded by Gary. The meeting was followed by the drawing of door prizes and an auction.
